To the east, there are some lovely quiet beaches at Bacton, Happisburgh and Sea Palling (all within 14 miles), or you can head west to the busier resort of Cromer (8 miles), home to a Victorian pier, a lighthouse and the Amazona Zoo. Inland attractions include Felbrigg Hall, Gunton Park Sawmill and the Blickling Estate, all within 13 miles.
